Under Mobile County School Board Policy, all students enrolled at LeFlore Magnet High School are required to wear approved uniforms on campus at all times.  Uniform dress will be monitored on campus throughout the school day. Any student who is out of uniform will be sent home and/or disciplined and will not be allowed to participate in the instructional process.

Girls shirts:
- Freshmen:      Solid White 2 or 3 button Polo style shirt

- Sophomores:  Solid Orange 2 or 3 button Polp style shirt                                                 

- Juniors:         Solid Orange 2 or 3 button Polo style shirt

- Seniors:         Solid Hunter Green 2 or 3 button Polo style shirt

        LHS Class of 2010 shirts may be purchased at School Zone     

(Solid White undershirts only!)

Boys shirts:
- Freshmen:            Solid White 2 or 3 button Polo style shirt

- Sophomores:         Solid Orange 2 or 3 button Polo style shirt

- Juniors:                Solid Orange 2 or 3 button Polo style shirt

- Seniors:               Solid Hunter Green, 2 or 3 button Polo style shirt with logo

Girls (skirts/pants):
Only khaki uniform pants with four pockets are allowed. The only types of skirts allowed are the khaki pleated uniform skirts, and plaid pleated uniform skirts. Girls are not allowed to wear leggings or tights during the winter. The following are not allowed: STRAIGHT SKIRTS, CARGO PANTS, PATCH POCKETS, DRAW STRING PANTS, CAPRI PANTS,  SKINNY LEGS, BELL-BOTTOMS.

           Skirts cannot be shorter than 3".  They will be measured from the top  of the knee!  

         Please refrain from hemming skirts. Short skirts will not be tolerated on this campus!

                     For safety purposes, we are asking students to wear stud earrings.

Boys pants:
Only khaki uniform pants are allowed. The following are not allowed: CARGO PANTS, PATCH

Belt: Solid Brown Belts

Socks: Black, White, Brown Ankle length socks are permitted. Socks must be visible at all times.

Shoes:   Any brown lace up shoe. (No slides, no tennis shoes, no baby doll shoes)

Outerwear 9, 10, 11, and 12 Grade:

Only hunter green garments will be allowed in the building.  This policy will be enforced regardless of the weather!  Hunter green wind jackets, fleece, blazers and cardigan sweater may be worn.

Girls and Boys:

Shirttails must be tucked in at all times.

Students are not allowed to wear any type of hats in the building.  (knit beret, hoods, baseball

 caps, etc.)

Students are not allowed to wear spirit shirts until an announcement is made by the principal.   

Spirit shirts include: band, dance, football, track, tennis, baseball,etc. You are only allowed to wear authentic spirit shirts. (No shirts that you have made are permitted) The following shirts are not LHS sponsored organizations; therefore; you can not wear Ikette, IK, Sigma, or Kappa League shirts on this campus.

                                             Consequences

1^st uniform violation -Teacher warning         2^nd uniform violation-Detention (held on Wednesday afternoons)

3^rd uniform violation-Retract                          4^th uniform violation- Suspension

   *All violations after the 4^th uniform violation will result in suspension.

***STUDENTS WITH UNIFORM VIOLATIONS MAY BE SENT HOME FOR THE FIRST VIOLATION IF ADMINISTRATION DETERMINES VIOLATION WARRANTS.
