Education

 

 

Students will learn that observation is an important key in principles and visual elements relative to photography. The curriculum is based on industry standards designed t o provide specialized skills and technical knowledge relevant to photography. Students will focus on the basics of digital camera development, safety and composition principles. Students are encouraged to research career choices and plan for credentials in art, customer service and/or other related fields. Students will participate in Skills USA, a Career and Technical student organization.

PHILLINIECE I. RAINE

Certified Commercial Photographer Instructor/Doctoral Student

Leflore High School: Skills - USA Photography Club Advisor

Born on December 21, 1958 in Gary, Indiana. I attended high school in Chicago, Ilinois.

 

Hello my name is Philliniece I. Raine; having the pleasure to join esteemed elite professional instructors at John L. LeFlore Signature Academy in 2003. Prior to LeFlore I was a Master Portrait Field Photographer for Lifetouch Corporation for over 21 years.

 

Presently at LeFlore Signature Academy, I recently received a Master’s of Art degree in Teaching and Learning with Technology (MATLT) April 2015, and this has deepened the passion to teach photography, encourage lifelong learning/educational capabilities to students.

 

The students will effectively experience rigorous curriculum, using technology for today’s work force readiness. I have recently been accepted to the University of the Rockies to pursue a Ph.D. in Philosophy in Education.
