Education

 

 

Students will learn that observation is an important key in principles and visual elements relative to photography. The curriculum is based on industry standards designed to provide specialized skills and technical knowledge relevant to photography. Students will focus on the basics of digital camera development, safety and composition principles. Students are encouraged to research career choices and plan for credentials in art, customer service and/or other related fields. Students will participate in Skills USA, a Career and Technical student organization community services and competitions.

PHILLINIECE I. RAINE

Born on December 21, 1958 in Gary, Indiana. Attended high school in Chicago, Illinois.

 

Hello my name is Philliniece I. Raine a instructor at John L. LeFlore Signature Academy since 2003. Prior to  arriving at LeFlore,  I was a Master Portrait Field Photographer for Lifetouch Corporation for over 21 years.

I recently received a Master’s of Art degree in Teaching and Learning with Technology (MATLT) in 2015 and decided to deepen my passion to encourage students to invest in lifelong learning environments, I am presently enrolled in a doctoral program, pursuing my Ph.D. in Philosophy of Education.

My goal is to effectively use my experiences and higher education learning to teach rigorous curriculum using technology for today's work force readiness.
